Petrol Blue Mens 100% wool, lined Dressing gown (Small, Med, Large)

This practical dressing gown is sewn from 100% wool, New Zealand origin. It is a heavy layer (not quite the weight of a blanket, but almost), lined in 100% cotton paisley printed fabric and perfect if your house is on the chilly side.

It has a soft smooth hand feel, but will be a hard wearing fabric at the same time. The weave is like a twill with a diagonal stripe woven in.

It is dry clean only dressing gown but wool is very stain resistant and can repel liquids so it is easy to spot clean and blot any spills before they stain.

This dressing gown is lined in cotton from an ex-designer. There is slight printing flaw with the fabric in that the paisley image is not sharp in places, which is why it was destined for landfill. There are two buttons to hold the overlap of the dressing gown in place.

There are pockets hidden in the side seam. They are double layer for strength because I know you gentlemen like to put things in your pockets.

All are limited edition and bespoke pieces. I have no more of this fabric and cannot make to order, unfortunately.   It is available in sizes Medium and Large and Large only. I have to finish all the hand sewing on this one so please allow one week for me to do that and to post it to you.

THE DETAILS:

*There are two double layer pockets hidden in the side seam.

*Two vintage buttons from 1940’s-70’s 

*The entire length of the front edges of the robe and around the collar is top stitched by hand, similar to a mens hand made suit, so that the collar edges do not roll and always lay flat. 

*All hems including bottom hem and sleeves are hand sewn

*Even the back of the neck is lined so that the wool does not irritate your skin

*100% wool, NZ origin

*Lining is 100% cotton ex-designer fabric in petrol paisley (not perfect printing)

*Shaping at the waist can be achieved with the tie belt   

*Dry clean only

Please check the measurement table carefully. MY SIZES ARE VERY LARGE and you may be a size smaller than normal.
