Quartz Blue Ladies Heavy Wool Robe (Small to X-Large) Two different linings

A$565.00

Another blue dressing gown for all you blue lovers out there, this heavy wool robe is 100% wool, in calming quartz blue which is a medium to dark blue, muted in tone.

The wool fabric has a twill finish which means that it has a diagonal stripe in the weave. It is from New Zealand, an ex-designer fabric.

It is heavy weight for those who live in colder climates or need the extra warmth because you are having disagreements with the thermostat in the house. The photos are true in colour and the dressing gown is fully lined in two different 100% cotton fabrics from a local supplier.

One lining is a dark navy background floral and the other is a quieter pale blue floral cotton. I used all wool the fabric available and do not have any left to do any custom orders. Please see all photos (pale blue floral pics are at the end of the bunch).

***IMPORTANT FOR THIS DRESSING GOWN: I will need one week to finish all the hemming and hand sewing on this dressing gown before I post. Please be patient with me. I am a one woman show and I only have two hands, unfortunately.

The bottom hem and sleeve hems are all hand sewn which makes it easy to alter the length if required. Someone handy with a needle and thread or an alterationist can easily do this for you. There is an extra 5cm in the sleeves to lengthen if needed. The full length of the gown is at the maximum and can be shortened if needed but not lengthened by much more than a centimetre or two. My dressing gowns are long and the sizes are very generous so you will likely be a size smaller than you would normally.

Please see my measurement chart. My measurements are of the garment laying flat on a table with the front sections overlayed each other by 6” or 15cm. If you are confused, please call or email.
