Mens Red/Green/Black/Stone Check 100% wool, not lined - Small, Med, Large

Lucky me (and lucky you), I brought this fabric back from Canada. It is a vintage Italian 100% wool, 1970's. My supplier in western Canada brought it back from eastern Canada from a man who lost it in his warehouse. Yes, lost it. He did not remember he had it and found it after many years when he was retiring and selling his remaining stock.

It is not heavy like a blanket wool but is nice and soft, not lined, and with the slight fluffy pile toward the inside for warmth and comfort. It is a medium weight fabric. The checks are red, green, black on a stone coloured background. If you need a simple warm layer for over pjs or over your clothing, this is a contender. It is available in Small, Medium and Large.

There is no lining on this dressing gown. It is a simple wrap and tie with big patch pockets at the front, which are lined in cotton so they don't bag out. I know you like to put things in your pockets, but we don't want them to look like saddle bags.

There was a tiny bit of shrinkage when I hand washed this fabric so I am going to recommend dry cleaning for it.

For those of you who are not familiar with wool, it does not have to be washed often. It is stain resistant and can be spot cleaned. I will send along instructions. Unless you are very messy, then dry-cleaning is only recommended when necessary, maybe once at the end of the season, before you store the dressing gown for the next winter.
