Mens Charcoal Pinstripe 100% merino wool, not lined - Med, Large, X-Large

This is a light warm layer for those of you who have decent heating in the house or live in a warmer climate. It is soft, 100% merino wool, for the sophisticated man. It is dark charcoal with a lighter grey pinstripe and appears lighter in some of the photos. I think this would have been earmarked for men’s suits. It is a local purchase from a company in Melbourne that saves fabric from landfill and sells it to small makers like me.

It is available in Medium and Large, and X-Large. I have sold all the size Small already. Sorry, there will be others in size small.

There is no lining on this dressing gown. It is a simple wrap and tie with big patch pockets at the front, which are lined in silk so they don't bag out. I know you like to put things in your pockets, but we don't want them to look like saddle bags.

There was some shrinkage when I hand washed this fabric so I am going to recommend dry cleaning for it.

For those of you who are not familiar with wool, it does not have to be washed often. It is stain resistant and can be spot cleaned. I will send along instructions. Unless you are very messy, then dry-cleaning is only recommended when necessary, maybe once at the end of the season, before you store the dressing gown for the next winter.

These measurements are of the garment laying flat on the table overlapped at the front by 15cm or 6”. They are NOT of the person wearing the dressing gown.

They are all limited edition and bespoke pieces. I have no more of this fabric and cannot make to order, unfortunately.
