Lucky me (and lucky you), I found a small roll of this merino wool, enough to make four dressing gowns. It is an ex-designer fabric, 100% merino wool, on the heavier side of light weight (like a winter weight suit fabric) but tightly woven, smooth and soft hand feel, and is Italian made. This is a very special fabric and very sophisticated.

It would suitable for someone who lives in a warmer climate or if you have some heating in your house and just need a light warm layer.

There is no lining on this dressing gown. It is a simple wrap and tie with big silk lined patch pockets at the front. Photographed here with the cuffs turned up. They can also be worn folded down.

If you are confused or are unable to work out your size, please email me and I will help you. My sizes are cut very generously, so you will be in a smaller size than you normally are. These measurements are of the garment laying flat on the table overlapped at the front by 15cm or 6”. They are NOT of the person wearing the dressing gown.

They are all limited edition and bespoke pieces. I have no more of this fabric and cannot make to order, unfortunately.  

*There are two silk lined patch pockets at the hipline and one small breast pocket.. 

*Simple wrap and tie, no lining  
*The entire length of the front edges of the robe and around the collar is top stitched by hand, similar to a mens hand made suit, so that the collar edges do not roll and always lay flat. 
*100% merino wool, soft smooth hand feel, lighter weight but a very warm layer

*Shaping at the waist can be achieved with the tie belt
