Red Tartan, with gold sparkly thread Wool Robe (S-XXL)
This gown makes me happy. The colour is vivid, there is gold thread throughout the fabric so it sparkles, and it's warm.
This gown is NOT LINED, but it is 80% wool, 15% nylon and 5% Lurex (the gold thread). It's a modern wool, ex-designer, with a soft and smooth hand feel. It's tightly woven, made in Korea, from Australian wool.
It is light weight for those who have some heating or live in warmer climates who just want a warm thin layer. The photos are reasonably clear but I was unable to capture a lot of the sparkle in the fabric. There is a quite a lot of gold sparkle in the yellow stripes of the fabric which is gorgeous and understated (not bold or like Christmas tinsel).
It is a simple wrap and tie style gown with no buttons, but there are inside ties so the gown won't slip open.

*This robe is available in Australian sizes (Small to XX-Large) which is slightly smaller than US sizing and slightly larger than UK sizing.
*The fabric is 80% wool, 15% nylon, 5% lurex (the gold thread).
*There are two patch pockets on the front of the gown, lined in red silk.
*There are inside cotton ties so the gown won't slip open.
*The entire length of the front edges of the robe and around the collar is hand stitched, like a men's suit jacket, to ensure that the collar does not roll and sits flat.
