Navy Blue Wool Robe (S-XL)
😏 I’ve sold out of the finished robes (sadly no more spotted lining) but I’ve got more of this beautiful Italian fabric. If you would like one made (takes 4 weeks) please order below or if you need a custom made version. Choose your size and I will contact you with lining options for you to choose from.
This classic dressing gown is made of a medium weight fabric which is 70% new wool, 20% recycled wool and 10% polyester. It is hard wearing and can be very carefully hand washed.
It is much lighter than the blanket weight for those of you who have the heating on and don't need such a heavy gown, but it is still very warm, especially when it is lined. This is a more recent fabric, 1980’s Italy, and has been reclaimed as a surplus roll from an Australian garment manufacturer.

*All buttons are hand dyed vintage buttons from the 1940's-50's.
*It is a one-off bespoke piece.
*The fabric is 70% new wool, 20% recycled wool, 10% polyester. The robe is fully lined in 100% cotton fabric.
*Even the back of the neck is lined so the wool does not touch your skin.
*There are two hidden pockets in the side seams.
*In the photographs, the cuffs are turned up to expose the lining but can easily be folded down.
*The sleeve hems and bottom hem are both hand sewn so that if you need to alter the length of either, this can be done very easily if you are handy, or by your alterationist.
*The entire length of the front edges of the robe and around the collar is hand stitched, like a men's suit jacket, to ensure that the collar does not roll and sits flat.
