Coral floral blossom Nightie and Bolero Set by Givoni and Florence Broadhurst (S-XL)
This gorgeous 2 piece nightie and bolero jacket are from the Florence Broadhurst collection from Givoni. They are stock from my shop which I have closed. I will no longer be carrying this line and once they are sold, they will not be repeated. First in best dressed. The price is for both pieces and they are being offered below cost.
In the first photo, the bolero jacket over the nightgown is tied in the front under the bust. The second photo it is not tied but is allowed to waterfall over the nightgown at the front. The bolero is long at the back so covers the nightgown entirely. At the front, it covers the bust so has a bit of a modesty function when you get up in the morning. The sleeves on both the bolero and the nightgown are long.
Underneath the bolero, the nightgown has a round neck with a cut out key hole at the front. It is knee length (last two photos).
The gown and bolero are made by Givoni based on a design by Florence Broadhurst who was an Australian designer, originally from Queensland, but who catapulted to fame internationally in the 1920’s and 1930’s with her bold style and colour.
This gown is 92% Modal and 8% elastane.
For those who are not familiar with Modal. It is a cellulose based fabric, a natural fabric made from wood, similar to bamboo. It breathes very well and is a good temperature control fabric.
Care instructions:
Wash normally in the machine, preferably in a delicates washing bag so that it does not get twisted with the rest of your laundry.
Hang to dry but do not hang on a hanger. Modal when it is wet is very heavy and it can stretch the fabric if it is on a hanger. Instead hang over the clothes line or clothes horse in half and allow to dry naturally.
You can use a dryer on low heat but bear in mind that clothes dryers are not that kind on the clothes. Your gown will last much longer if you do not use the dryer.
