Navy blue animal print nightshirt in modal by Givoni and Florence Broadhurst (S, M, XL)
This beautiful nightshirt is from the Florence Broadhurst collection from Givoni. It is stock from my shop which I have closed. I will no longer be carrying this line and once they are sold, they will not be repeated. First in best dressed.
The nightshirt is knee length and has long sleeves and a V-neck It is softly pleated at the front of the gown to give you some extra room in the body.
It also has a second layer on the inside which covers the bust with soft stretchy lace around the under bust area, shown in the third photo.
The nightie is made by Givoni based on a design by Florence Broadhurst who was an Australian designer, originally from Queensland, but who catapulted to fame internationally in the 1920’s and 1930’s with her bold style and colour.
This gown is 92% Modal and 8% elastane.
Sizing is approximately:
Small = Size 10
Medium = Size 12
Large = Size 14
X-Large = Size 16-18
For those who are not familiar with Modal. It is a cellulose based fabric, a natural fabric made from wood, similar to bamboo. It breathes very well and is a good temperature control fabric.
Care instructions:
Wash normally in the machine, preferably in a delicates washing bag so that it does not get twisted with the rest of your laundry.
Hang to dry but do not hang on a hanger. Modal when it is wet is very heavy and it can stretch the fabric if it is on a hanger. Instead hang over the clothes line or clothes horse in half and allow to dry naturally.
You can use a dryer on low heat but bear in mind that clothes dryers are not that kind on the clothes. Your gown will last much longer if you do not use the dryer.
